The company behind the products.
One enterprise, one system.
This is the Brand Guidelines v2.0 rendered as working code — every color, typeface, and component as a live, copy-paste-ready token. It exists so that any team, in any region, produces on-brand Edge Tech material without interpretation. The strategy is inherited wholesale from the Positioning & Differentiation Framework; nothing here overrides it.
What Edge Tech stands for.
The position, pillars, values, and audiences every asset expresses. Inherited wholesale from the Positioning & Differentiation Framework — condensed here for daily use; the framework remains the source of truth.
The position
The company behind the products.
For the global brands, distributors, and building-materials companies that define the category, Edge Tech is the vertically integrated OEM manufacturing partner that develops, manufactures, and delivers the product systems its customers sell as their own — with a speed, control, and technical depth competitors cannot match — and never competes with its customers.
The category term
A vertically integrated OEM manufacturing partner. Never "supplier," "vendor," or "sourcing company" — and never "broker."
The relationship idea
The inside partner — an extension of the customer's own R&D, quality, procurement, and supply-chain teams.
The objective
Move Edge Tech from being explained in every meeting to being understood before the conversation begins.
Edge Tech is — and is not
Is
- A true OEM manufacturing partner — its customers' brands come first, always
- An extension of the customer's R&D, quality, and supply-chain teams
- Vertically integrated from raw material to finished product
- A systems manufacturer — the full building envelope, below grade to roof
- Privately held, decisive, and fast
- Quietly confident — visible capability, discreet relationships
Is not
- A broker, middleman, or trading company
- A product brand competing in its customers' channels
- A sourcing intermediary dependent on other people's capacity
- A single-category commodity producer
- The cheapest option — competes on value, never on price alone
- A consumer-facing brand chasing visibility for its own sake
The three pillars
Every asset draws from these. Nothing gets invented downstream — it gets selected and sequenced.
True vertical integration: raw material in, finished product out. Own plants, own formulations, own supply chain.
Private ownership, founder-led decisions, the fastest concept-to-market in the category. Two-year corporate cycles vs. one phone call.
The inside partner — an extension of the customer's own team, structurally incapable of competing with them.
Values & personality
These predate the brand work by 26 years — how the company already operates: Honesty · Integrity · Quality · Innovation · Entrepreneurial spirit.
Quietly confident. Quiet to the market, bold in partnership — modern, technical, industrial, understated. "Run silent, run deep."
Audiences — who must be convinced, and of what
| Audience | What they need to believe | Lead with |
|---|---|---|
| Procurement & sourcing | A lower-risk, higher-control choice than any alternative — qualifies cleanly. | Vertical integration · U.S. infrastructure · quality record |
| Distributors & builders | Supply will be there — on time, in spec, at scale; one partner carries the system. | Full envelope · logistics footprint · 26-year record |
| Financial partners & banks | A stable, substantial, well-run enterprise — verifiable independently. | Footprint & history · retention · controlled growth |
| Product development & R&D | Edge Tech makes us faster and technically better. | Speed to market · formulation depth · "extension of your R&D" |
| OEM & private-label execs | Edge Tech will never compete with us; the relationship compounds. | OEM purity · the inside partner · dedicated-line confidentiality |
| Internal teams & talent | One enterprise, one story, one standard — worldwide. | Values · founder story · standardization, not localization |
The messaging hierarchy
Every asset — page, deck, one-pager, script — draws from this hierarchy. Nothing gets invented downstream; it gets selected and sequenced.
Level 3 · Proof-point bank
| Proof point | Supports |
|---|---|
| 26 years in business — zero paid claims, zero lost customers | Partnership · trust record |
| 3M+ sq ft international manufacturing; ~700K sq ft U.S.; ~800K sq ft central U.S. distribution | Control · scale · American accountability |
| Five of five process stages in-house — raw granules to finished, printed, packaged product | Control |
| In-house pre-polymer production — among the only manufacturers worldwide | Control · technical depth |
| Dedicated, confidential production lines for major customers | Partnership · OEM purity |
| R&D leadership recruited from the world's largest construction-materials companies | Speed · technical depth |
| Patented next-generation roofing underlayment (2026) — lighter, safer, longer-lived, recyclable | Speed · innovation |
| Thousands of employees across the U.S., Dubai, and India, on one quality standard | Scale · standardization |
Each proof point's public-use status and safe external wording live in the Claims Register (Section 08). Verify figures against records before external use.
Level 4 · Founder story capsule
Edge Tech exists because its founder, Stephen, saw a gap no one else would close: capacity existed, but capacity that could actually meet a spec did not. He built the company on control — owning the plants, the processes, the quality — and on conservative, deliberate growth: "I've turned down more business than I've taken." Twenty-six years later, the discipline reads as prophecy: quality won the quantity. Told as the origin of the company's standards — a credibility asset for banks, boards, and partners — never as a personality brand.
The building block.
One logo, used with discipline, in every region — the first proof that four entities tell one story. The wordmark lives inside a square that reads as a building: the structure a manufacturer of the whole building envelope stands behind. No separate symbol to balance — the enclosure is the mark.
How it was developed — and what it means
The logo started from the brand's hardest problem: almost no one has heard of Edge Tech. A clever, abstract symbol would need decoding — the opposite of what a company trying to be understood before the first meeting can afford. So rather than invent a mark to explain, we made the name itself the logo, and gave it a container that carries meaning.
That container is a square that reads as a building. Edge Tech manufactures the entire building envelope — below-grade to roof — so the enclosure says, quietly, the company behind the structure. Inside it, EDGE is set bold and TECH light: the ownable, differentiating half leads, the category qualifier follows, both at the same size so the name stays one unit. It's set in Chivo — a squared, engineered sans, an "EDGE" that actually has edges — so the mark reads precise and industrial, and holds up at any size, in one color, under a procurement scan. Contained, balanced, unshouting: run silent, run deep.
The lockup — horizontal & square
Clearspace & minimum size
Clearspace unit X = the frame's stroke-to-cap gap. Keep at least X clear on every side — no type, rules, images, or edges enter the zone. Horizontal lockup min 120px wide; below that, use the square. The favicon is the Ink-solid square.
Co-branding
The customer's logo always leads — Edge Tech endorses, never crowds. OEM purity applies to layout, too. Default placement of the Edge Tech lockup: top-left, or centered on covers and title cards.
Misuse
Endorsed regional brands · proposed
InnoBit and Triton keep the marks they've earned; the endorsement signature locks beneath them. The names below are placeholders for each brand's own wordmark — the deliverable is the "An Edge Tech Company" signature. Final mechanics are confirmed in the architecture workshop.
A quiet, industrial palette.

Visual weight — lead with quiet
Accents season; they never dominate. White + Mist carry ~60% of any layout, Ink ~25%, Deepwater ~10%, Sky ~5%.

OEM Purity
Edge Tech never competes with its customers. In a market where every major competitor sells its own brand into its customers' channels, Edge Tech does not — structurally, permanently.
The inside partner — an extension of the customer's own R&D, quality, procurement, and supply-chain teams. Never a supplier. Never a vendor. Never a broker.

The hero is the manufacturing floor.
Not a shiny headquarters. Machines, material, precision — photographed and rendered like the evidence it is. Full-color runs cool and clean; the Ink–Sky duotone is the signature treatment for covers, dividers, and any surface carrying reversed type.
Subjects that prove the position
- Production lines, extrusion, coating detail
- Raw material & QC in action
- Warehouse scale — shot wide
- Hands and machines — shot macro
Never
- Stock handshakes, hard-hat clichés
- Shiny office towers
- Consumer lifestyle scenes
- Anything that reads as selling to a homeowner
Treatment: desaturate full-color 10–15%, no HDR, no warm filters. CGI cutaways follow the same palette and light logic so renders and photos sit together as one family. Customer-branded product lines are confidential by default — clear every frame before external use.
Facts over adjectives.
"26 years, zero paid claims" outperforms any superlative. The brand never sells, never shouts, never overclaims. It states facts and lets scale speak. Written for a procurement executive and an R&D chemist at once.
Always
- The company behind the products
- The inside partner
- Vertically integrated OEM manufacturing partner
- An extension of your R&D
- From being explained to being understood
- True OEM — we build your brand, never a competing one
- Standardization, not localization
Never
- Broker, middleman, trading company
- Supplier, vendor, sourcing partner
- "Cheapest" or price-led framing
- "One of the biggest in construction" (overclaim)
- Product-selling language of any kind
- Hype: "world-class," "best-in-class," "solutions provider"
- Anything positioning customers' brands as secondary
Claims discipline — use the external formulation
Not "the only true OEM left." Instead: "A true OEM — every major competitor also sells its own brand into its customers' channels. Edge Tech does not." Every public claim must survive the exact diligence process the brand is built to win.
Every claim, and how to say it.
A brand built for procurement, banks, and technical diligence holds its own claims to the same standard. Each flagship claim carries its status and the externally safe formulation. This register governs all public-facing copy — nothing gets paraphrased upward.
| Claim | Status | External formulation |
|---|---|---|
| "The only true OEM left" | Founder-attested | Use the structural version: "A true OEM — every major competitor also sells its own brand into its customers' channels. Edge Tech does not." Avoid the unqualified "only." |
| Five of five process stages in-house | Founder-attested · audit before print | Lead positive: "Vertically integrated from raw material to finished product." Keep the 5-of-5 comparison verbal until a competitive audit clears it for print. |
| 26 years · 0 paid claims · 0 lost customers | Verifiable from records | The strongest fact the company owns. Confirm from records once, then use freely — especially with banks and procurement. |
| Among the only pre-polymer makers worldwide | Founder-attested | Publicly: "among the only manufacturers worldwide producing its own pre-polymers." Reserve "one of three" for conversation. |
| "More R&D than anywhere" | Not usable as stated | Convert to specifics: the 2026 patented underlayment, named technical hires, investment figures. Specifics outperform the superlative. |
| Footprint figures (sq ft; headcount) | Verifiable internally | Confirm current numbers once with operations, then use everywhere. Round conservatively; update annually. |
| Customer & partner names | Restricted | No named customers in public materials without written consent — confidentiality is itself part of the OEM promise. Use "the most recognized brands in roofing and waterproofing." European project references may be usable case by case. |
Every public claim should survive the exact diligence process the brand is built to win. Nothing here requires exaggeration — the verified facts are stronger than the industry's inflated norms.
One enterprise, one voice.
Edge Tech is the enterprise master brand and the single sales-and-marketing voice for all entities. Established regional brands keep the equity they've earned — endorsed by, and folded into, the Edge Tech story. Customers meet Edge Tech first, always.
| Entity | Role | Market posture | Website |
|---|---|---|---|
| Edge Tech | Enterprise master brand — the corporate voice for the whole enterprise, worldwide | Leads every external conversation. B2B platform: capability, never product-selling | Flagship — one unified site |
| InnoBit | Waterproofing manufacturer (Dubai): membranes, tapes, coatings, sealants | Endorsed regional brand. Keeps equity in UAE / EU / intl.; its technology relaunches in North America under the Edge Tech name | Remains — endorsed |
| Triton | Sealants & adhesives (Dubai); private-label partner to the biggest names | Endorsed regional brand. Stays live for existing UAE and international customers who know and trust it | Remains — endorsed |
| ETOS | Integrated manufacturing entity (2026) | Internal capability. No standalone market-facing brand — presented inside the Edge Tech story | None — by design |
Endorsement protects equity
InnoBit and Triton stay live where they've earned trust, presented inside the Edge Tech story. Their sites remain; the narrative connects them upward — never dilutes the master.
No new standalone brands
New entities, plants, and capabilities present as Edge Tech unless leadership makes an explicit architecture decision otherwise. ETOS is the precedent.
Signal, not reorganization
The architecture governs how the enterprise presents, not how it operates. Nothing about legal structure, ownership, or operations changes.
External narrative: "Edge Tech, with manufacturing entities and established regional brands across the U.S., Dubai, and India." Out of scope here: Slate (Georgia printing/converting) and the Armor product line serve separate strategies — deliberately excluded to protect OEM clarity. Endorsement mechanics (lockups, "an Edge Tech company" line, cross-linking) are finalized in the brand-architecture workshop.
Where the brand shows up.
The framework rendered on the surfaces that carry it — the two the client feels first shown in full, and the rules for the rest.
The company behind the products.
For 26 years, the most recognized brands in roofing and waterproofing have trusted Edge Tech to develop, manufacture, and deliver the systems they sell as their own.

Every new external asset traces its claims to the Positioning Framework and follows this document. No exceptions by region or agency.
Brand health checks
A scheduled audit of the full digital ecosystem against these standards — semi-annual in year one, annual thereafter.
